Megyn Kelly’s recent fiery monologue on her SiriusXM show has certainly turned heads. In an impassioned address, the former Fox News host did not hold back as she discussed the verdict in former President Donald Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial. To say she was fervent would be an understatement.
“This is a before and after moment for America,” Kelly declared, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. Drawing a line in the sand, she asserted that the only way to rectify what she described as Trump’s “crucifixion” in the American justice system is to start throwing Democrats in jail. “Democrats will rue the day they decided to use lawfare to stop a presidential candidate,” she warned. She wasn’t advocating for violence but rather a tit-for-tat legal approach. Kelly suggested that key figures like Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton could be targeted, potentially revoking statutes of limitations to pursue past crimes, similar to what happened with E. Jean Carroll under New York state law.
Kelly cited an article by John Yoo, a Bush-era White House attorney, to bolster her argument. Yoo predicted that giving Democrats “a taste of their own medicine” is the only way they’ll learn. “They tasted blood today,” Kelly remarked, likening Democrats to wolves eager for more. According to her, turnabout is fair play, and the stakes for the Republic have never been higher.

Interestingly, Kelly isn’t alone in her newfound support for Trump. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who previously had a rocky relationship with Trump, has pledged significant financial support to his campaign, aiming to raise at least $10 million. The backlash following the trial verdict saw MAGA supporters flood Trump’s campaign with over $34 million in donations within 24 hours, temporarily crashing the website. High-profile conservative donors are also writing six-figure checks in support.
Trump’s surge in popularity, particularly among blue-collar voters and Americans of color, is another aspect that Kelly believes Democrats fail to grasp. She pointed out how figures like George Stephanopoulos struggle to understand Republican perspectives, especially regarding what constitutes criminality. Kelly mocked Stephanopoulos for his apparent bewilderment when New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Chris Sununu pledged his support for Trump. According to Kelly, nearly half of the country views actions by Democrats, such as challenging elections or burning police stations, as less severe compared to the allegations against Trump.
In her characteristic style, Kelly doesn’t mince words. Her bold assertions resonate with a significant portion of the electorate, reflecting deep-seated frustrations and a readiness for dramatic political retribution. Whether or not her calls to action will materialize remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Megyn Kelly’s voice continues to spark controversy and command attention in America’s ongoing political saga.
