Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and others. He said, “As far as holding people accountable, yes, they should be.” But he also mentioned that this could be a while in coming because there’s a lot more information to gather. They need to build a case and see how extensive it could potentially be for obstructing.
The Georgia Republican didn’t stop there. He stated that if the members are shielded from prosecution, other measures like censorship or referrals to the House Ethics Committee are also up for consideration. He pointed out that some members of that select committee are no longer members of Congress, so they might fall under a different scenario.
