House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) just ripped the lid off another festering scandal — and this one’s got everything: stonewalling, bureaucrats playing defense, and a Department of Justice that seems more interested in hiding evidence than in delivering justice. During an interview with Sharyl Attkisson on Full Measure, Comer laid out in no uncertain terms how Attorney General Pam Bondi’s DOJ is blocking efforts to release the long-awaited Jeffrey Epstein files. You know, the ones that could actually name the powerful figures who participated in Epstein’s disgusting child trafficking network.
At a recent SEC swearing-in ceremony, President Trump was blunt when asked about the Epstein documents. “I don’t know. I’ll speak to the attorney general about that,” he said. Translation: Trump’s still fighting the same Deep State garbage that infested his first term — and clearly, some of these career swamp creatures survived.
Comer detailed how his newly formed Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets — launched under President Trump and spearheaded by firebrand Rep. Anna Paulina Luna — is now trying to track down which bureaucrats are still playing hide-and-seek with critical files. Surprise, surprise: the Epstein documents are among the most heavily guarded. They claim it’s because of “ongoing investigations.” Right. Just like we’ve had “ongoing investigations” into Hunter Biden’s laptop, Hillary’s emails, and the JFK files for the past sixty years.
Even more explosive was Comer’s suggestion that our own government might have had a hand in exploiting Epstein’s infamous blackmail operations. That’s right: it’s not just about catching a few Hollywood degenerates or slimy Wall Street execs — it’s about whether American intelligence agencies used Epstein’s dirt to control politicians, media moguls, and global business leaders. If that’s even halfway true, it would explain exactly why they’re still hiding the list, the videos, and every dirty little secret attached to Epstein’s grotesque empire.
Comer didn’t sugarcoat it: “Was our government involved in this? Were they potentially blackmailing some of the most influential people in the United States or in the world?” You’re not supposed to ask those kinds of questions in D.C., but Comer just threw it out there on national television. Good.
Meanwhile, Pam Bondi’s DOJ sits on its hands, claiming it’s “in the process” of releasing documents. Yeah, and I’m in the process of winning the lottery too — any day now.
Americans deserve the truth. Not more excuses. Not more bureaucratic cover-ups. President Trump’s task force is our best shot at tearing down the wall of lies the DOJ and intel agencies have built around Epstein’s dirty secrets. No more delays. Release the files. Let the chips fall where they may.
