FBI Presence Linked to Trump Assassination Attempt via Mobile Data

New revelations have emerged in the wake of the assassination attempt on President Trump. According to an in-depth analysis by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, mobile data has unearthed a potential link between Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin, and a mysterious visitor who frequented both Crooks’ home and workplace in Pennsylvania.

The story begins with Crooks, a 20-year-old gunman who took several shots at President Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The incident left the nation in shock, but the plot thickened when investigators stumbled upon mobile ad data that tracks individuals’ movements based on their devices. This isn’t your average episode of “Law & Order”; we’re talking real-life detective work powered by cutting-edge technology.

So, what did the data show? Turns out, someone who regularly visited Crooks’ home and place of work also made frequent trips to a building in Washington, DC, located near the FBI office. Yep, just a stone’s throw away from where federal agents sip their morning coffee and plan their next big sting operation.

The Oversight Project, which spearheaded this investigation, identified nine devices linked to AD-IDs (unique identifiers assigned to mobile devices) that were present at Crooks’ home and workplace over the past year. By tracking these devices, they uncovered a pattern of visits to a DC building in Gallery Place, a bustling area teeming with shops, diners, and apparently, intrigue.

“This is in the same vicinity of an FBI office on June 26, 2023,” the Oversight Project reported, casually dropping a detail that could set off a thousand conspiracy theories.

The same investigation revealed another device linked to Crooks that traveled as far as Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Butler, PA during key dates leading up to the attempted assassination. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any juicier, on August 30, 2023, another device connected to Crooks was tracked to Allegheny Arms.

Adding a layer of noir to this already shadowy tale, the Oversight Project released a map showing all the relevant locations in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania linked to Crooks’ movements. To protect their sources and whistleblowers, they’ve decided to keep some details under wraps, especially given the connective tissue between congressional task forces, the FBI, and other agencies.

In an interesting subplot, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was grilled by the House Oversight Committee about these so-called security breaches. GOP Rep. Andy Biggs pressed her on whether Crooks acted alone, to which she deftly sidestepped, referring the question to the FBI. It’s almost like watching a game of political hot potato, except the stakes are much higher.

Will we ever know the full extent of the connections and the motivations behind this attack? Only time will tell.
