Elizabeth Warren Humiliated After Complaining to Trump About Elon Musk Leading DOGE

Senator Elizabeth Warren has once again put herself in the crosshairs, this time by launching a tirade against President-elect Donald Trump and his selection of Elon Musk as co-chair of the newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Warren, never one to miss an opportunity to wag her finger, penned a lengthy letter to Trump expressing her “concerns” over Musk’s role, calling him an “unofficial co-president” and raising the issue of conflicts of interest.

Warren’s letter outlines Musk’s extensive business dealings with the federal government, pointing to Tesla’s $42 million in contracts for electric vehicle (EV) services, federal subsidies for EV chargers, and the $7,500 tax credit for EV purchases. She also noted that Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, has secured $20 billion in contracts, providing critical services like satellite launches and communications support for the Department of Defense. According to Warren, these federal ties mean Musk’s role in Trump’s administration could blur the lines between public service and personal enrichment.

Warren went further, criticizing Musk’s history of clashes with federal regulators, including investigations by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Justice Department, and the National Labor Relations Board. She argued that Musk’s advice to Trump might serve his own business interests rather than the American people.

Warren’s grandstanding prompted a swift and scathing response from Trump’s incoming press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. In a statement to Daily Mail, Leavitt dismissed Warren’s complaints with a sharp wit, saying, “President Trump has assembled the most impressive and qualified team of innovators, entrepreneurs, and geniuses to advise and staff our government.” She added, “Pocahontas can play political games and send toothless letters, but the Trump-Vance transition will continue to be held to the highest ethical and legal standards possible.”

Leavitt’s use of “Pocahontas,” Trump’s long-standing jab at Warren for her dubious claims of Native American heritage, highlighted the disdain with which Trump’s camp views the Massachusetts senator’s criticism. Leavitt didn’t stop there, adding that Warren’s “societal impact is 1/1024th of Elon Musk’s,” a biting reference to Warren’s much-publicized DNA test debacle.

This exchange underscores the clash between Trump’s vision of a streamlined, business-oriented government and the Democrats’ obsession with regulation and red tape. Musk, with his proven track record of innovation and efficiency, represents precisely the kind of outsider influence Trump wants to harness. Meanwhile, Warren, a career bureaucrat, seems more concerned with protecting the status quo.

In the end, President Trump and his team are staying the course. With Musk at the helm of DOGE, the promise of slashing government waste and shaking up Washington remains alive and well. Warren’s letter? Just another futile attempt to derail the MAGA train.
