President Trump, feeling the heat from his base and not one to sit back and take a beating, made a major move Thursday night by directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to unseal more of the Epstein files. After two weeks of grassroots outrage and blowback over the DOJ’s decision to quietly close the door on further Epstein-related charges, Trump finally snapped the leash and told Bondi to dig deeper.

This is what you call a full-blown reversal. Just days ago, the Department of Justice, under Bondi’s leadership, declared that there would be no further indictments, no new charges, and no so-called “client list.” Predictably, that didn’t sit well with millions of Americans who have watched for years as the Epstein saga reeked of elite protection and two-tiered justice. And when the MAGA faithful started asking why the swamp still seemed untouched, the pressure became impossible to ignore.

Bondi is expected to ask a federal judge Friday to authorize the release of grand jury testimony that could shed real light on the Epstein operation — including victim statements and possibly the names of high-profile figures who flew a little too often on the Lolita Express.
The final straw for Trump might’ve been that Wall Street Journal report claiming he sent Epstein a raunchy birthday card in 2003. It included a crude doodle and a poem about “many secrets,” because apparently, even in hit pieces, subtlety is dead. Trump has denied every word of it and threatened to sue both the Journal and its owner Rupert Murdoch — which, honestly, sounds like something he’d enjoy.
“This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!” Trump wrote Thursday. He’s not wrong. The Left, who suddenly care about Epstein again now that Trump’s name is back in the headlines, controlled the DOJ for four years and did nothing with it. As Trump said Friday, “If there was a ‘smoking gun’ on Epstein, why didn’t the Dems, who controlled the ‘files’ for four years, and had Garland and Comey in charge, use it? BECAUSE THEY HAD NOTHING!!!”
Bondi quickly responded online, saying they’re ready to move on the unsealing “tomorrow.” That’s a serious change of tone from last week’s stonewalling.
The real question now is, will the courts go along with it? And more importantly, who’s really afraid of what’s inside those transcripts?
Trump’s not running from Epstein. He’s charging headfirst into the fire, daring the media and the D.C. elite to follow. Let’s see who blinks first.
