Democrat Congresswoman CHARGED After Violent Attack on Reporter

One member of Congress managed to pack more disgrace into 24 hours than most do in an entire term. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) seems determined to break records—not for legislative accomplishments, but for how much chaos one elected official can create. From mockery of disabled public servants to a full-blown physical assault caught on camera, Crockett’s behavior has now gone from disgraceful to potentially criminal.

Tuesday morning, in the halls of the Capitol, Crockett physically lashed out at conservative reporter Charles Downs, a correspondent for Laura Loomer’s Loomer Unleashed program. The incident occurred after Downs politely asked the congresswoman whether she condemned violence linked to recent “Tesla Takedown” protests. These protests were tied to Crockett’s own inflammatory remarks days earlier, where she wished someone would “take down” Elon Musk—yes, really—and now protesters are physically targeting Tesla showrooms across the country.

Downs’ question clearly struck a nerve. In the video, already viewed over 1.7 million times on X, Crockett storms toward the reporter, striking him and attempting to seize his phone, leaving visible scratches and lacerations on his hand from her long nails. The U.S. Capitol Police confirmed that charges have been filed, including assault, battery, and attempted theft. The physical proof, caught clearly on camera, leaves little room for denial.

But that didn’t stop Crockett from trying. In a desperate attempt to shift blame, she claimed Downs “invaded her personal space,” though video footage shows a calm, respectful exchange prior to her outburst. Downs, in a move that proves he has more dignity than the congresswoman, stated he’s willing to drop the charges if Crockett simply apologizes. So far, no apology.

And this wasn’t even the only scandal of her day.

Just hours earlier, Crockett earned bipartisan disgust for mocking Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s paralysis, calling him “Governor Hot Wheels” during a Human Rights Campaign event. When confronted, she tried to walk it back by claiming she was referencing his immigration policies—sure, and I’m a unicorn.

Now Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) is promising to introduce a formal censure resolution in the House, slamming Crockett’s rhetoric as “vile” and a disgrace to Texas.

If Crockett’s goal was to become a walking billboard for how unhinged the far Left has become, mission accomplished. From inciting violence to assaulting reporters and mocking disabled Americans, she’s checked every box—and America is watching.

The only question now is: Will Congress finally hold her accountable? Because if this behavior came from a Republican, CNN would be calling for a criminal investigation, not just a censure.
