Well, isn’t this just the cherry on top of the Biden administration’s carnival of nonsense? Liz Cheney, former Wyoming congresswoman and certified queen of political betrayal, is getting a Presidential Medal of Freedom from Joe Biden. This, apparently, for her “exemplary deeds” leading the January 6th committee—aka, the most overproduced political witch hunt in modern history.
First off, let’s remember what this committee actually was: a partisan kangaroo court. Sure, they slapped the word “bipartisan” on it, but come on. Pelosi handpicked its members, tossing out anyone who might dare cross-examine their witnesses or, heaven forbid, ask a tough question. It was a made-for-TV drama, complete with dramatic pauses, hand-wringing, and zero actual balance. Even Brit Hume—hardly a firebrand—called it out for what it was: a show trial. But now, Cheney gets a medal for it? For selling out her own party and turning the Constitution into her personal weapon? Spare me.
This is a slap in the face to every American.

And let’s talk about Biden’s reasoning here. According to the White House, Cheney’s “integrity” and “intrepidness” remind us all of what’s possible if we “work together.” Sure, if by “work together” you mean working with Democrats to smear your own party’s leader while lining up your next MSNBC contributor gig. Cheney doesn’t represent courage—she represents what happens when ambition overtakes principles. She’s the poster child for what’s wrong with establishment politics.
Of course, President-elect Trump isn’t letting this slide. He’s been crystal clear: Cheney and her J6 buddies will face real investigations under his administration. And why shouldn’t they? The January 6th committee wasn’t about justice—it was about revenge. It twisted facts, ignored inconvenient evidence, and turned the DOJ into a political weapon. Accountability isn’t just appropriate; it’s necessary.
And can we just laugh for a second at the idea of Biden preemptively pardoning Cheney, Adam Schiff, and Mark Milley? Schiff, the human leak machine, and Milley, who thinks it’s fine to undermine civilian leadership because Trump hurt his feelings, are on the “retribution list” for good reason. Biden’s trying to shield his political cronies from a reckoning they’ve earned.
Meanwhile, Cheney’s so deluded she endorsed Kamala Harris, calling her the “only candidate with integrity.” Harris—the woman whose word salads make a tossed salad look organized. If Cheney’s legacy wasn’t already a punchline, this seals it.
