OUCH! Gavin Newsom Admits Even His Own Family Can’t Stand Him—Total Embarrassment!

It looks like even Gavin Newsom’s own kid isn’t buying what the California governor is selling. That’s right—Newsom, in his attempt to play Mr. Bipartisan on his new podcast, just casually admitted that his 13-year-old son is a Charlie Kirk fan. Imagine that. The son of one of the most radically leftist governors in America would rather listen to a young conservative firebrand than his own father. Ouch.

Newsom dropped this little nugget while interviewing Kirk on his new show This is Gavin Newsom—a podcast that sounds like a desperate PR stunt to prove he has some kind of crossover appeal. (Spoiler alert: He doesn’t.) In the conversation, Newsom revealed that his son was practically begging for a day off school just so he could watch the interview. You know, the same kid who had to suffer through years of his dad’s disastrous lockdowns, where school was canceled for months at a time. But take one day off to hear a conservative speak? Not a chance.

Of course, Charlie Kirk couldn’t resist pointing out the irony: “Well, you canceled school for like two years, what’s one [day]?” Touché, Charlie.

The interview itself was a bit of a spectacle. Newsom, clearly out of his element, awkwardly complimented Kirk’s social media game, admitting that Democrats are completely failing to reach young people. Kirk didn’t hold back, calling out the left’s obsession with posting “cringe videos” that come across as robotic and out of touch. (We’ve all seen those embarrassingly scripted Democrat TikToks—yikes.)

But the real mic drop moment? When Newsom, sounding almost desperate, asked Kirk how Democrats could fix their branding problem. Kirk’s answer was simple and brutal: “Get better ideas, governor.”

That’s really the core issue here, isn’t it? Democrats aren’t losing young voters because they need a new marketing strategy. They’re losing young voters because their policies are a disaster. They lock kids out of school, push radical gender ideology, drive up inflation, destroy job opportunities, and then act shocked when young people start looking elsewhere. Meanwhile, President Trump is actually talking to young voters—about jobs, about the economy, about a future where they can afford a home and raise a family. And guess what? They’re listening.

Even Newsom’s own son is tuning in. That should tell you everything you need to know.
