Oh, the left is absolutely losing it again. You’d think they’d be used to President Trump’s master-level trolling by now, but no—every time he posts something that triggers their fragile little worldviews, it’s like watching a bunch of over-caffeinated squirrels go into full meltdown mode.
So what’s the outrage du jour? Well, on Wednesday, President Trump dropped some great news for New Yorkers—he’s pulling the plug on Biden’s ridiculous congestion pricing scheme, which would’ve charged drivers just for the privilege of entering Manhattan. Because, you know, the best way to help struggling Americans is to make them pay more money just to go to work. Classic Democrat logic.
Naturally, Trump took to Truth Social to celebrate the decision, and his post was straight-up legendary:
“CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED.”
“LONG LIVE THE KING!”

Boom. Just four little words, and suddenly the entire liberal media went into DEFCON 1. Apparently, saying “LONG LIVE THE KING!” was enough to send leftists into a full-on rage spiral, convinced that Trump had just declared himself an actual monarch. Because, of course, they have zero sense of humor and take everything way too literally.
But wait, it gets even better. The White House then doubled down, posting a graphic of Trump wearing a crown on a fake Time magazine cover labeled “TRUMP” instead. At this point, the media was foaming at the mouth. This was clearly an intentional move, and I have to say—absolute masterclass in trolling. Trump and his team know exactly how to get under the left’s skin, and they did it effortlessly.

Predictably, the usual suspects in the MSM freaked out. The New York Times, which hasn’t written an unbiased word in years, had a total meltdown, calling Trump’s post a dangerous display of authoritarianism and a reflection of his supposed “expansive views of power.” Yeah, okay. Because nothing screams dictatorship like… killing a tax.
And let’s not forget the unhinged leftists on X (formerly Twitter):
Please restore my faith in humanity.
Repost this if you agree Trump should be f*cking IMPEACHED for referring to himself as “King.” pic.twitter.com/p4k3lZHg1f

The official White House account just referred to Trump as a “king” and posted an image with a crown on his head.

Oh, so now assassination threats are just casual social media banter? Imagine if the roles were reversed—there would be wall-to-wall CNN coverage, FBI investigations, and calls for immediate arrests. But when it’s Trump, somehow it’s just edgy humor. Hypocrisy, thy name is liberalism.
At the end of the day, what’s actually happening here? Trump saved New Yorkers from yet another money-grabbing Democrat scheme, and in doing so, managed to trigger every leftist from Brooklyn to Berkeley. Long live the king (of trolling).
