Trump’s 2024 Victory Sends Democrats Into a Full-Blown Meltdown—Literally

It turns out that President Donald Trump’s decisive 2024 victory didn’t just rattle the Democratic Party politically—it’s apparently causing actual health crises among his opponents. Yes, you read that right. According to Dr. Glenn Burnett, an internal medicine physician from Wyoming, Trump’s return to the White House has triggered a wave of mental health breakdowns among his Democrat patients.

In an interview with journalist Mark Halprin, Burnett revealed that many of his left-leaning patients are experiencing severe mental health issues after Kamala Harris’s humiliating defeat. “We are dealing with depression, anxiety, all kinds of medical problems that are related to that—like insomnia, chest pain, chest pressure,” Burnett explained. “There’s some genuine fear, panic.”

Panic? Over an election result? It seems the party that prides itself on being the champions of “science” and “rational thinking” has some serious coping issues when democracy doesn’t swing their way.

Burnett noted that during Biden’s presidency, he did treat conservative patients struggling with the direction of the country. But the reaction he’s seeing now? “Extremely intense” compared to anything he witnessed from the right. Apparently, Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) isn’t just a punchline anymore—it’s a full-blown medical condition.

Halprin even predicted this kind of meltdown back in October, telling Tucker Carlson that the 2024 election could trigger “the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country.” He wasn’t exaggerating. Halprin warned of everything from “trauma in the workplace” to “broken marriages” and rising alcoholism. Seems like he called it.

So how does Dr. Burnett treat these fragile souls? Step one: turn off the news. “The first thing I tell them to do is to turn their computers off and turn their televisions off,” he said. Good advice, honestly. Constant doom-scrolling through MSNBC and Twitter probably isn’t great for your mental health—especially when your political worldview just got body-slammed by reality.

Burnett’s second piece of advice? Focus on what actually matters. “If you’ve had an issue with your family—and a lot of them have—that is so much more important than Kamala Harris or Donald Trump,” he explained. Imagine that—prioritizing personal relationships over political obsessions. What a revolutionary concept.

Interestingly, Burnett is hesitant to prescribe medication, noting that this isn’t a medical issue as much as it is a grief problem. Translation? Some people just can’t handle losing.

Maybe what these folks need isn’t therapy—but a dose of resilience.
