Homan Hits Back at Pritzker’s Grandstanding: ‘Game On – We’ll Crush His Immigration Obstruction!

It looks like the gloves are already off as President-elect Donald Trump names Tom Homan as his pick for “border czar,” and Homan isn’t wasting any time responding to Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s chest-thumping rhetoric. Pritzker, clearly rattled by Trump’s plans for stricter immigration enforcement, recently declared that Illinois would continue to be a sanctuary state for undocumented immigrants, making a dramatic pledge: “If you come for my people, you come through me.”

But Homan, the no-nonsense former ICE Director, didn’t flinch. He joined Charlie Kirk for an interview and delivered a blunt response: “Game on. We’ve got no problem going through him.”

Homan’s appointment, announced by Trump on Truth Social, signals a hardline approach to immigration enforcement, and his comments made it clear that he’s ready for a fight. “I’ve got 20,000 men and women in ICE who are going to do their job with no apology,” Homan stated. “Congress has enacted a law that protects this country. People need to understand… entering this country illegally is a crime.”

Homan’s straightforward, unapologetic stance reflects the direction Trump’s administration is likely to take on immigration. “Every illegal alien in this country committed a crime to get here. So they’re all criminals,” Homan emphasized. “And look, there’s some worse than others, I get that. And even if they’re not a criminal alien, when you cross that border and you overwhelm the border patrol… that’s when the fеntanyl comes across to k-ll a quarter-million people. That’s when you have a 600% increase in s-x trafficking. That’s when you have a record number of tеrrοrists crossing the border. Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime.”

The message is loud and clear: the days of turning a blind eye to illegal immigration are over, and Homan isn’t planning to back down, even if it means clashing with liberal governors like Pritzker. “We’re gonna enforce the law without apology,” Homan said firmly. “And if any governor wants to stand in the way, go ahead and do it. We’ll see what happens. We’re not gonna be intimidated.”

Trump’s appointment of Homan, announced on Truth Social, was filled with praise for the former ICE Director’s experience and toughness. “I am pleased to announce that the Former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders (‘The Border Czar’), including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security,” Trump wrote. “I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders.”

The statement ended with a clear mandate for Homan’s role: overseeing deportations and ramping up border security nationwide. “Congratulations to Tom,” Trump added. “I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”

It’s clear that Homan isn’t here to make friends with sanctuary state governors like Pritzker. He’s ready for a showdown, and his no-holds-barred approach could be exactly what Trump’s base has been waiting for.
