In a final push to rally Pennsylvania voters, Kamala Harris sent Michelle Obama to Montgomery County, where she took to the stage at Norristown Area High School to launch a fervent defense of Harris and a pointed critique of President Trump. This campaign stop comes at a critical juncture, with just days left until Election Day, and Obama didn’t hold back in her remarks.
Speaking passionately to an enthusiastic crowd, Michelle Obama declared, “Kamala emphatically shows us that she is the one president this country needs right now.” The message was clear: a win for Harris, according to Obama, would mark a turning point for the country. She warned the audience about the dangers of allowing what she called a “backward vision of America” to prevail if Trump is reelected. “If this election goes the wrong way, this backward vision of America being spewed by Kamala’s opponent will affect all of our lives, no matter how old we are,” she cautioned.
In her speech, Michelle Obama didn’t hold back in taking aim at Trump, describing him as a “small man” to loud cheers from the crowd. This jab was one of the more direct criticisms of the day and underscored the intensity of the Harris campaign’s final stretch. Obama’s words, aimed squarely at Trump, reflect a strategic effort by the Harris team to underscore what they see as stark differences between the candidates.
The speech took an emotional turn when Obama touched on her personal experiences with race and the progress her family witnessed. Reflecting on her late mother’s journey, she recalled how her mother once faced exclusion from department stores, yet decades later watched her daughter and son-in-law lead the country from the White House. “My mother, who I lost this year, wasn’t welcome in department stores as a young woman, but for eight years she had the best view in America from her room at the White House,” Obama shared, stirring the crowd and adding a deeper, personal context to her message.
They’re sending Michelle Obama out to viciously attack Trump, hoping he’ll respond to her so they can create a new news cycle.

This rally in Pennsylvania was one last ditch effort to try and prevent Pennsylvania from going to Trump, but I think it’s too late for that. Trump should take Pennsylvania and the election.
