WATCH: Kamala Harris Falls Apart in Disastrous Interview with Fox News

Well, folks, it looks like Kamala Harris’s campaign strategy is in full-on damage control mode after a train wreck of an interview with Fox News. For a politician who usually sticks to friendly media outlets, Harris decided to step out of her comfort zone and face off with Bret Baier. Spoiler alert: it did not go well.

Here’s the deal. Harris has avoided most television interviews throughout the campaign, but with recent polls and an internal memo (thanks, New York Times!) showing that her silence is hurting the ticket, she’s been scrambling to make up for lost time. So, she tried to take on Fox News—perhaps hoping it would give her some credibility. Instead, it backfired, big time.

The best part? Bret Baier didn’t pull any punches. He pressed her on a fundamental question: If she and Biden have been in charge for three and a half years, and over 70% of Americans say the country’s on the wrong track, how can she promise a “new way forward”? Instead of owning up to the fact that she’s been part of the current administration, she launched into a rant about President Trump. Yeah, because that totally answers the question.

And then came the truly bizarre moment when Harris insisted, “You and I both know what I’m talking about,” which left Baier—and everyone watching—scratching their heads. What was she even trying to say? This is the kind of incoherent dodge that makes you wonder if she’s even prepared to answer questions, let alone lead the country.

Baier didn’t let her off the hook, though. He tackled her on Biden’s cognitive state—a concern that a lot of Americans share. Harris, in her usual evasive style, insisted Biden is fully on his game, despite mounting evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile, Hollywood heavyweights like George Clooney are on record saying Biden’s “not the same” anymore. So, who’s really out of touch here?

Harris also tried to talk about immigration, blaming Republicans (as usual) for the mess at the border. But Baier hit back with facts, pointing out that even six Senate Democrats rejected the so-called “bipartisan” border deal that Harris claims Trump killed. Maybe because the “deal” would’ve opened the floodgates for illegal immigrants and sent billions overseas—hardly the “American-first” approach voters are looking for.

This interview makes it clearer than ever that Kamala Harris is out of her depth. Instead of answering direct questions, she pivots, attacks, and deflects. If this is the best the Harris-Walz campaign can muster, they’re in for a tough ride.
